In the first quarter of 2024, the Brazilian iOS market displayed a dynamic performance among the top air travel apps. Data from Sensor Tower provides us with insights into the trends of these apps in terms of downloads and weekly active users.
Starting with LATAM Airlines, the app saw a fluctuation in downloads, peaking at 37K in the second week of January and then gradually declining to 27K by the end of March. Weekly active users started strong at 167K but dipped to 156K toward the end of January, recovering to roughly 174K in mid-March before closing the quarter at 168K.
The Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker app experienced a surge in revenue, with the highest at nearly $6K in the second week of January, and despite a slight drop, it maintained a steady income throughout the quarter. Downloads reached their peak at 8K in the second week, while weekly active users saw a high of 47K in the final week of March.
Priority Pass™ did not generate revenue, but its downloads and active users indicated modest activity. Downloads saw an early high of 3.5K in the second week of January before a dip to 1.7K by the end of March. Weekly active users hovered around 6.3K at the start of January and saw a decrease to 4.7K by the quarter's end.
TAP Air Portugal also showed no revenue for the quarter. The app's downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight peak at 2.5K in early January and a dip to 1.8K by the end of March. Weekly active users started at 6.2K, peaking at 6.6K mid-January, and ending the quarter at 5.6K.
Lastly, American Airlines downloads and active users experienced mild fluctuations. Downloads peaked at 2K in the second week of January, then fell to 1.2K by the close of March. Weekly active users saw a high of 7.7K in early February, with a decrease to 6K by the end of the quarter.
